Saanen Dairy Goats. Originating from Switzerland, in the Saanen Valley. These goats are heavy milk producers and usually yield 3-4 percent milk fat.
Approximately 145 lbs/65kg in weight, they are rugged and spirited. Among the goat family, they are considered medium to large, one goat produces 1/2 to 1 gal of milk per day.
